Reformation Brewery Review

Hello everyone and welcome to Beers with Brandon where I will be reviewing local Georgia breweries for those interested in exploring the world of craft beers. In today's post we will be talking about Reformation Brewery located at 105 Elm Street Woodstock, GA. Reformation offers a patrons a clean and friendly atmosphere to enjoy a variety of craft beers with outdoor seating, social distancing, and routine cleaning protocols to reduce the risks of Covid-19. In addition to these safe practices they now offer customers a beer to-go option for those who are more health concerned. While they do not serve food in the brewery customers are encouraged to either bring their own, order for delivery, or walk to one of the many nearby restaurants in downtown Woodstock. Conveniently located on the second level of the building is their food partner Queenie's BBQ which offers quality barbecue smoked over Georgia pecans with traditional southern side dishes made from scratch. In addition to offering great beer and excellent food, Reformation also hosts trivia nights, live music, corn hole leagues, and much more making it a fun place for the whole family.
This location offers two bars with the Workshop bar on the main level where people can socialize inside or enjoys the gorgeous outside seating while relaxing under the shade of the long-standing Elm tree in their backyard. On the second level for those who wish to drink their beer in a quieter environment thee is the Study bar where people can work or read without distractions. Currently between the two taprooms they offer a variety of 16-24 craft beers including IPA's, stouts, sours, Belgian wheats, and even a hard seltzer option. For customers who are underage or acting as a designated driver they also provide non-alcoholic beverage options. Perhaps the most popular of their beers is the Cadence Belgian Dubbel, a fruity ale style brew with a taste of mild hops, strong malt flavors, hints of caramel and Belgian candy sugar with an ABV of 6.9%. This red colored beer serves as a good option for those who are looking for a lighter beverage full of rich flavor. For those more seasoned beer drinkers who might prefer something a little stronger look no further than the Declaration Imperial Stout. With a 9.7% ABV this beer provides a rich and smooth flavor with a strong bittersweet finish. While beers like the Cadence are more desirable for those hot summer days this stout is best enjoyed during cold winter nights around a fire with your friends. This award-winning brew gives drinkers a malty beginning with signs of a chocolatey coffee sweetness and a mild alcohol taste making it a beer you'll want to sip and savor for hours on end.
